High Rise Residential Building Fire Safety

The Government has passed new legislation relating to Fire Safety. One of these is the 2022 Building Safety Act, aimed at controlling and reducing the risk to residents and buildings in the event of a fire. Lewisham Council, Regenter B3 and its partners place the highest importance on fire safety and are committed to working in partnership with residents to ensure they feel safe, and the risk of fire, to them and their homes, is reduced. The Building Safety Act covers buildings that are seven storeys or higher, meaning Holly Tree House, Conifer House and Poplar House are covered by the act.

Regenter B3, on behalf of Lewisham Council, is carrying out a programme of engagement activities during 2024-25 to give residents of Holly Tree, Poplar and Conifer House a greater understanding and influence over how fire safety is managed where they live.

Quarterly Fire Safety Meeting

We’re hosting our first quarterly fire safety meeting for residents of Conifer, Poplar and Holly Tree House on Wednesday 16th April, 7-8pm.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents of high-rise buildings to better understand and influence how fire safety is managed in their building.

Residents who would like to attend must register their attendance via the Housing Office on 020 4518 1447 or brockley.customerservice@pinnaclegroup.co.uk.
